Born Poor Nominated for an Emmy!
We are very proud to announce that Born Poor has been nominated for an Emmy in the category Outstanding Social Issue Documentary! The accomplishment was brought about by the tireless work of filming over the past 15 years to bring the stories of Kaylie, Johnny, and Brittany to the screen, shedding light on the crisis of the cycle of poverty through a sensitive and hopeful lens. A huge congratulations to Jezza and the team for all the hard work!
