Child of Mine
Described by The Daily Mail as "ground-breaking documentary, a UK television first" - the taboo of stillbirth explored.
But this film is even more urgent in the USA, which has the highest rate of stillbirth in the developed world.
Every 20 minutes a baby is delivered dead, 26,000 lives a year. 1 in every 160 American pregnancies ends in stillbirth. If stillbirth was counted as a cause of death (which it is not) it would be in the top ten causes of death in the US.
Ultimately a positive film about life after loss, Child of Mine brings this tragic topic into the open by shining a light on the hidden crisis of stillbirth. Social media cutdowns of the film have been viewed over 5 million times, and reaction to the film was overwhelming.

America's Poorest Children
America’s Poorest Kids will tell the story of the USA today through the eyes, and in the words of the children at the bottom of the social ladder. Kids who have been born into a world with little hope, who feel excluded from the American Dream, and for whom just surviving from day to day can be a struggle.
Since 2007 the amount of private wealth in the States has increased by 20%It now totals $62,600,000,000,000
But huge wealth comes huge wealth disparity. The poorest 50% of the population is in possession of only 1.1% of the country’s capital.
Catching a Killer - USA
In Phoenix, the murder rate is 10 in 100,000 - earning it the unwanted epithet of one of America’s deadliest cities. For the second year in a row, the number of homicides and unsolved cases has doubled.
On the front line of this are the Phoenix PD Homicide Team, for whom every day brings a fresh case to their doorstep, ranging from suicides and cot deaths, to cold-blooded executions.
This series follows, for the first time, the tense, thrilling work of the team as they work a homicide case, from the 911 call- all the way through to sentencing. This unprecedented access provides an intimate, shocking look at the visceral reality of a homicide detective, and the legal legwork required in bringing a killer to justice.

China's Forgotten Children
China’s drive to become a world superpower and global economic force has come at a cost to its children.
China now has 61 million left-behind children equivalent to the total populationof the UK, growing up alone, as economic orphans.
Over the past generation, 270m Chinese laborers have left their villages to look for work in cities. It is the biggest voluntary migration ever. Many of those workers have children; most do not take them along.
These children are lucky if they see their parents once a year over Chinese New Year as it’s estimated that over 10m left-behind children will never see their parents again…And it’s continuing to get worse as internal migrant population will reach 300 million by 2020.
