True Vision was formed in 1996 to make television that empowers the viewer. Our aim is to bring to the audience stories that both entertain and inform. We have built a particular reputation for human rights related film-making, though that is not our only area of interest. We do feel however, that to be invited into someone's front room is a great honour, and that to be worthy of that honour it is not sufficient that our programmes only entertain, they must also inform and educate, even if only very gently. We don't make "chewing gum for the eyes", instead we hope that every film we produce makes the world a very slightly better place.
